Our history.

Over 45 years of industrial know-how in fermentation

Located in France, Bioprox’s history starts with the industrial development of Noyant manufacturing site in 1962.

At that time, Bioprox produced culture media for the dairy industry and savory flavors, before scaling up in the 1980s through large-scale industrial fermentation. In 2004, Arnaud Moor, CEO of the French industrial group Proxis Développement, integrated Bioprox into his family holding company, as the biotechnology department. With a modern factory and a strong R&D center specialized in microbiology, the company relies on recognized scientific expertise in bioindustry, supported by a passionate team of engineers and researchers.

In 2011, Bioprox ventured into the healthcare sector, to meet the growing demand and to address the evolving needs of probiotics players for both human and animal well-being.
